A new Scout center VANAIVAN was built up by scouts in a town called Kopřivnice, which is situated bellow the Beskydy mountains in the Lachian Gate region. The center consists of several clubhouses , lecture rooms, symposium rooms, a small gym, a computer room with wifi, sanitary facilities and a kitchen as well. The center is adapted for wheelchairs.

The center can be used:

• - for organising a range of courses such as leadership, management skills, team cooperation, enviromental and health education for which we are able to provide top lecturers as well.
• - As a leisure center for youth organisations and the public
• - For management meetings of various companies, offices and organisations. We are able to provide all kinds of services.

Relax from the rat race of everyday life! Enjoy all the varied sights of Kopřivnice with its gems of Tatra cars, Štramberk, which is known as the Moravian Bethlehem, Freud’s Příbor or Hukvaldy, the native village of the composer Leoš Janáček.

The surroundings of Scout center VANAIVAN offer a plenty of opportunities for sport activities. There are outdoor and indoor swimming pools , mini-golf, bowling alley, a horse ranch and you can even try paragliding. There are also great posibilities for cycling and jogging. During winter you can enjoy well prepared tracks for cross-country skiing or visit a ski center.
